Services We Offer

youth at a training meeting

Youth 'N Action provides a variety of services which all fit into the following four areas:

  1. Youth Voice/Advocacy
  2. Youth Support
  3. Education Around Government Services
  4. Mental Wellness

Youth Groups:

Youth 'N Action sponsors two youth groups located on the east and west sides of the state in the Spokane and Seattle areas. These groups meet twice a month and are open to all youth 14-24 interested in making their voices heard, bettering themselves, and/or making a difference. Youth group meetings can include trainings, discussions, personal growth exercises, team building, games, recreational activities, and always snacks and FUN! Youth 'N Action also sponsors a ground-breaking in-school program in Spokane called "Student 2 Student" at Lewis & Clark High School. This program is a trial run for expansion into other schools across the state. See our event calendar for exact meeting dates.

Resource Referral:

Youth 'N Action staff work hard to stay up to date on resources and programs available in communities across Washington state. If you?re looking for a resource or service, feel free to give us a call. If we don't know the answer, odds are we?ll know someone who does.

Technical Assistance:

Youth 'N Action is a fun and beneficial program that's empowering youth to change their world! We?d love to see similar programs become established across the U.S. to serve and assist even more at-risk youth. If you?re interested in starting a similar program feel free to contact us, and we can share the struggles, joys, successes, and more that we found when starting our program.

Youth Voice!:

Youth ?N Action works hard to make youth voice heard in public policy! If you've been involved in a government system - mental health, social services, juvenile justice, education, etc., we want to hear your story, feedback, and perspective. Youth 'N Action works with various government agencies to provide beneficial feedback on their programs and services to work towards effecting positive changes that benefit youth. One of the ways we do this is through the Washington Youth Council.

Training:

Youth 'N Action provides a variety of educational trainings to our youth which have included but are not limited to: public speaking, system navigation, media training, legislative training, meeting etiquette, and more! Youth 'N Action also trains youth to speak to adult groups and provide youth perspective. Contact us to set up a discussion panel (donations welcome).
